hmm, just got an email, earning 5% back on my freedom Visa with groceries and home improvement.
Well yeah, those are the 5% categories for the 2nd quarter. It began on 4/1.

Nice bonus, got auto approved. I might even actually keep this card after I get the bonus, the 3% online shopping bonus sounds tasty.

I had a BofA Bass Pro Rewards card that was discontinued and they automatically put me into this card and I got a similar bonus of $150 without me having to do anything. Of course, YMMV. FWIW, I really like this card and am getting way more back in rewards than I would have ever thought. 3% back for online shopping really adds up for me.

yes, enrolled this in my paypal, amazon, ebay etc for 3% helps offset taxes in WA. Better deal was $200 Bonus Offer w/ $500 https://slickdeals.net/f/11891999-bank-of-america-cash-rewards-credit-card-200-bonus-offer-w-500-in-eligible-purchases?v=1# (expired) Handy for me with BOA inside my Safeway store and got the CB in time for BF sales
Even if you don't need one, open a basic BoA checking or savings account. Doing so adds an additional 10% to your cashback thereby boosting online purchases to 3.3%.

So glad BoA switched up the rewards for these cards. I have both the Visa and Mastercard versions and hardly ever used them before. Now earning 3.3% for all online shopping up to $5,000 combined quarterly has pretty much made them my primaries.

This card with Mastercard World does not provide trip cancellation protection. I get this to s=use for 3% travel cashback only use. but learned recent cancellation gave me no protection.

I have 2 of the MLB version of these cards already. Received $200 bonuses on both. Anyone know if I'll be able to take advantage of this one too?

I see a $300 cashback bonus when I sign in. But I doubt BOA would approve me since I have $24k CL on one card, so I don't see why they're offering it. I guess they want to ding my FICO score with the new inquiry.

It would nice if they team up with Amazon so we could use the rewards anytime rather than waiting until we reach $25 min.

In the past BOA use to move credit line to approve for more cards. You can give it a try.

Please consider the versions of this card that support either the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) or Susan G. Komen. All 3 cards have the same signup bonus and rewards program, with a portion of your spend donated to support a good cause. Also, an added benefit for most, the WWF and Susan G. Komen cards are both Visa instead of Mastercard.

They got rid of the 10% savings deposit bonus

Does that mean I can have multiple VISA versions of this card?

NerdWallet compared extended warranty policies from payment networks American Express, MasterCard and Visa. (Discover no longer offers this benefit.) Here are the major findings:
https://www.nerdwallet.com/blog/t...ty-policy/
American Express offers the most thorough coverage, extending warranties of five years or less for up to a year on all cards. It does not exclude wear and tear.
All networks exclude motorized vehicles (cars, boats, etc.) and computers. (WTF? COMPUTERS? and VISA Signature only??)
American Express reimburses you with a statement credit, while Visa and MasterCard send you a check in the mail.

Bank of America price protection allows people with the BofA Cash Rewards and BankAmericard credit cards to get reimbursed up to $1,000 per year for items they buy with their card that go on sale later.Oct 11, 2018 https://wallethub.com/answers/cc/...140670791/
