The link goes to a 10" benchtop table saw. On sale for $49.98, from $159. So still a good deal, but not the miter saw mentioned in the title or description.

ETA:
Here's the miter saw:

Genuinely asking: Is this a good deal? How useful is a 7 1/4 in miter saw?

Some useful information

Discussion on Blue Hawk tools [toolguyd.com]

Personally, just the way it looks, size, etc, it reminds me of the Ryobi TS1143L [ryobitools.com] without the laser, but will let you be the judge of that. Reviews for the Ryobi seem to be good

The other interesting thing is the markings on the fence in the picture at Lowes. That looks to be in metric, not imperial.

But with ANY new miter saw, the very first thing I would do is after you pull it out of the box is to take a 48" or longer level and lay it on the deck. If that thing is not flat and feels tipsy from one side to the other, send the miter saw back, you will never get a straight cut.

Had that problem on a Kobalt 7 1/4 miter saw which went straight back.

Believe it or not, VERY useful! Sometimes you just have a small job to do (baseboard / flooring) and you don't need your 12" beast. The 7 1/4 are lightweight and quick to set up and use and put away. They fit more easily in your truck / car to take to a job.

You won't make anyone drool on the jobsite, but if you're just a weekend warrior, you'll probably be glad you have it.

I will add, mine is a sliding mitre saw, which makes it more versatile. But this is a killer price for a mitre saw if you're able to find one.

great deal, I'm actually looking for one to cut metal. They aren't designed for it and you have to be careful as there's some plastic parts, but for $40 I'll make it work.
