Just don't put any camera inside the house . And use 2FA..

Should we also tell people to stay away from smart phones because of those who don't set a lock screen passcode? OP is like my mom overreacting to the smallest possible chance of risk.

Is this about the 1,500 Ring Passwords just found on the Dark Web?

Hey corporate whores - I know your inclination is to sheep along with the party line, but Ring should be more responsible. They're response was ridiculous. It is a joke of a "security" company and Amazon their owner is responsible.

To be fair they werent really pushing this feature until recently (popups within the app). The average user probably didnt even know it was an option.

How helpful is this in seeing a car's license plate driving by at night?

I am done with Ring products after finding out after the trial period you have to pay $3 a month to record ANY videos at all. Per camera that is.

And if your service lapses they erase all your months of videos.

F-- Ring products. I will not be expanding on their platform beyond a single doorbell. For security cameras there are so many better cheaper options.
It's $3 for one camera. But if you pay $10, it's unlimited camera.
