Can't be that high if they are unwilling to even provide that in the specs

FWIW:

I believe those don't stay in sync with Google Photos' albums dynamically.

Would be great if I could just make edits to a single Google Photos Album, and not have to then make edits in the Aura app (if you were to say delete or add to that album). Instead you're beholden to the Aura app.

For this price you can buy an iPad and use as a photo frame. This is TOO expensive

You would have to be inches away to see the 4k difference.

A Google nest Hub max is a pretty great photo display for those with Google Photos. Keeps updating and the ambient display makes it look like a printed picture.

For $100 you can buy Lenovo Google assistant display that does show photos and do even more. This is laughable. How is it even on FP?

I believe you can do this now, but you may need to already have a Google smart display. They give you the option to create a "Friends & Family" album that dynamically adds pics based on faces you select. You can then have any other device also sync with that album.

Still, this is about 4 years too late. I can't see why someone would buy this over an Echo or a Nest hub/Google display.

I think this product has a niche. I have a Google smart display and it doesn't always make good choices on what it how to show pictures. These are also meant to look like nice and be dead simple to set up and use. I bought the smaller one at best buy today for my parents. Thinking about taking it back for other reasons but looks useful to me.

Baffled by the total lack of digital picture frames that have 3:2 aspect ratio, which the is same shape as the image produced by a digital SLR or mirrorless camera with a full-size sensor. This one, for instance, is 4:3. Most of the cheap ones are widescreen 16:9. Which means your 3:2 picture either gets cropped to fit the screen, or ugly bars are placed around your picture.

Just buy a 4K TV and use that as a photoframe.
