Sony XBR65Z9F 1799.99 XBR75Z9F 2799.99

+8 Deal Score
I know this isn't universally praised as a flagship, but is a very good TV. Best price I've ever seen for it. I can't edit the title but the 75 is going for 2799.99

Crutchfield is the same for both.

Amazon is the same for 65, but 100 more for 75
Good deal?

From what I can tell when comparing the X900F and X950G in the 75" size the main difference in price has to do with the dynamic range. Ultimately you should have greater detail in the highlights and shadows of a scene on the Z9F. It's an important factor but Personally I rather keep the extra $700 in my pocket. ....

"Although Sony X900F and X950G both have a technology called X-Tended Dynamic Range Pro but their level is different. X-tended Dynamic Range Pro of X950G is 6X while Z9F is 12X. This has to do with the number dimming zones of their Full Array Local Dimming. Although they both already have full array local dimming technology, can be ascertained, the number of dimming zones of the local dimming is different. And certainly, Z9F has a lot of more dimming zones than X950G. This certainly makes the local dimming of Z9F can perform much better than X950G. Not just in improving brightness level, but also in reducing blooming and making the color more vibrant. In this is one of the major factors why Sony Z9F is priced much more expensive than X950G."
