I got one from dollar tree and one of the lids broke off the first time I used it. Replaced with ezydose and it's better. (Not great either)
Guess you just got bad luck. I got one from there and its been holding up well enough, Does not have day/night divider, but I only use it for my multivitamin so not like I need that.

I looked at couple of the Q&A and decided to skip this deal. It also feels spammy on the first page of this topic. My cheapy doesn't do day/night but at least the doors stay closed.

Why is Amazon selling this? Didn't they already buy PillPack? It's so much easier to have your pills shipped to you in a packet ready for each day.
Do you use this service? Would like your opinion of it.

I've got a couple of these and a couple of the ones you can take each day out. Both have pros and cons. However, this is the one I use at home for the main convenience of being able to do a week at a time from the back without having to open each day separately.
I've used them for a couple years, and the back door does not get loose over time and I've never spilled a whole week of pills that way.

I've used this one for 2.5 years and am happy with it to the point that I bought another so I can prefix more weeks of pills.

I use it for my work pills twice per day, since it has four compartments per "day" I stick two days worth of pills per day. I like that the life slides off for easy filling. It is also compact but allows two huge vitamins plus smaller pills in each compartment.

I have one of these exact ones from amazon they are very sturdy I don't see this falling apart unless you purposefully try to bust it. It opens so easily so I imagine it would be great if u have issues with arthritis in your hands/fingers. I like mine glad I bought it! After my thyroidectomy I got very forgetful from the thyroid brain fog while adjusting to my meds. This helped so I knew if I had taken my thyroid pills or not in the AM & PM. Also great for travel.

You can get very similar to this at the dollar store. They have a round one that takes a lot less space, but that one does not have am/pm divisions, just the days

Agree. I too have this exact one for a couple years. Bottom lid is very secure and will never "accidentally" open, even if dropped. Single bottom lid makes filling much easier.

The best pill organizer is the one you use(daily).

That feature seems like it's going to be way more trouble than it's worth. They remind you on the package that when you fill them up, AM and PM are reversed. And if you have pills you don't take every day, it'll be a hassle to remember which day is which, when they're upside-down and backwards.
Finally, I've dropped my cheapo pill organizer a bunch of times, and I've never had more than 2 tops pop open. It's pretty easy to refill 2 pods. That giant back door is going to get loose and fail on you. Now you've spilled ALL your pills.
I own this as of last week, when you open the bottom you can" see thru" the lids to see the days and the AM/PM, so no problems there.

Anyone got a recommendation for one that can be taken apart day by day if necessary?

I recommend any kind that can be taken apart by days.
I fill it up once a week and every morning put one in my pockets.
The one I bought was from Walmart and it's still holding up a year later.
Lol if I did that each day would be spread out so far and lost.
