There's a 20MHz boost clock deficit for the MECH compared to the Evoke, which will translate to next to nothing in terms of gaming performance. MECH OC is also louder, but doesn't have that strange champagne-colored shroud.

A few reviews on the Evoke reveal MSI cheaped on VRAM cooling, the pads hardly make contact. Wonder if this was fixed?

If you're using the reshade raytracing minecraft mod, yes, the 5700XT will run it.
I play minecraft with raytracing on my Vega 64 and it works just fine.

Minecraft RT is really not intensive at all, so you don't need an Nvidia card.

Looks like this also applies to the MECH OC 5700 XT as well. There's a 20MHz boost clock deficit for the MECH compared to the Evoke, which will translate to next to nothing in terms of gaming performance. MECH OC is also louder, but doesn't have that strange champagne-colored shroud.
It's probably an AMD offer. I've seen similar offers for some of their previous cards as well. Pretty good deal all things considered, as the GPUs are retailing at well over $400

It appears it was addressed. To say it was fixed is debatable....

It's showing up as $419.99 - $30 rebate = $389.99 AR for me.

Edit: nevermind, I didn't see the coupon code.

Didn't get great praise upon release. Lots of reviewers were pretty hard on it (justifiably).

However it appears they've updated their offering very recently.

No telling which you'd get. If I had to bet, I'd say still the older version at this point.

The XT is a solid deal but I consider it $60 more than a 5700 because there was a 5700 going for $290 last night without a rebate

Many reviews on youtube recommend the powercolor or sapphire pulse due to better cooling, noise, and performance. This card has less on those dept hence the price difference. You pay premium for a better built card. Too many reviews on this one that gives it a meh compared to those other 2 cards I mentioned.
