I don't know about the QC35 but the Studio 3's work just fine for me. It quiets down and most of the time mutes the outside noise. I got them on a lightning deal for $89 at Walmart (In-Store) but would never expect them to get that low ever again.

I have the Bose 700, which has updated (slightly better) noise cancelling than QC35. When I compared my 700 with a colleague's Studio 3, 700 is markedly better at countering conversational (mid to high spectrum) sounds. Don't know about low end sounds. As far as sound quality goes, Studio 3 is pretty much all bass and little definition for anything else and doesn't even sound much better than my old Soul SL300 from the days when I couldnt afford a Bose.

I found it on brickseek.com . It wasn't in stock at any store (in store only deal) so I ordered it for in store pickup (they won't show 89.99 online. They only show it on brickseek as the online price) so I ordered it for in store pickup for 349.99 and then returned them and purchased them back at customer service. It was a haste but it was worth it. Don't expect them to get to 89.99 again.

I like some of the Beats headphones but this one is from 2012.
Pretty outdated, no app for it and noise canceling is not that great.
App? Why would your headphones need an app even wireless ones?

I feel that for a little more you could get the QC35's or the Sony 1000's and have a superior set of headphones.

Sound adjustments (equalizer, noise cancellation level, etc), different modes mapped to certain gestures/button presses, firmware updates, etc.

I'm not a fan because a lot of people have reported that the newer firmware for QC35's worsened after updating.

I got these for "free" when I bought a MacBook.

They're pretty nice imo, and the noise cancelling works really well
