So what happened — did Apple disable 7.5W charging for all chargers past iOS 13.1?
They say they support 7.5W
source https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208078

but could be Apple wants to sell their MFI certified Q1 charger and did something in software Confused

As soon as I wait and wait and finally buy at full price why do products go on sale immediately...
This always on sale every month. I prefer the one with charger and I am actively looking 3 in 1. So that I can charge 3 devices at the same time

For people who wonder about having a popsocket on the back that prevents wireless charging - Popsocket has come up with a new design that is compatible with wireless charging. It contains a flat (almost), thin base and a detachable pop-up button (the round thing that you pull up/out Smilie You don't "have to" detach it though. I just lay the phone on the pad with the popsocket still on the back, and it does charge!
BTW: with a popsocket on the back of the phone, a pad works better than a stand Wink

FYI this charger does not have Extended Power Profile. So the fast charging is only with specific phones. Good for Samsung devices.

The remainder will fall back to Basic Power Profile and charge at 5W. This includes Pixel 4.

You can check them here:

Sounds like Apple also made a change in iOS 13.1+, requiring chargers to conform to EPP to reach 7.5W. I bet a lot of older chargers are now only 5W...

I feel like lacking the adapter is a huge PIA. All my QC chargers are USB C now. I need to buy C to micro USB cable just to have a faster charging rate in year 2020 is unimaginable...

Anyone know if this will work with the Razer phone 2?
Yes it works, but you have to place the phone every time in a certain way. Something like very close to the charging port. In conclusion it works, but its bot that practical. For the price well its a cheap buy that you won't regret, besides with he razer adapter it gets fast charging.

Agreed with others that placement on these is very particular for charging. I used to use it on my nightstand and went back to wired charging since that's easier.

I have to take mine off, probably because of where I put it on my phone. Even still, love being able to wirelessly charge and still have a popsocket.

Welcome! I actually had just saved that link like 3 days ago from Reddit. When I saw this deal I knew I wanted to get a few more chargers so I could print a stand lol. There are several different designs on thingiverse if you think this one is too bulky.

I have a charging pad and I don't understand how people have a difficult time placing their phone. It's not difficult. Just put your phone in the center, and check after 1.5 seconds to make sure it's charging.

Odd to hear these stories about placement. Must be phone/case specific. Mine have been flawless.
