I've been using the rectangular version of this (Anker Wireless Base Pad) with my Pixel 3 XL and it works well. Yes, I only get 5W charging, but since I sleep more than 3 hours a night that seems to work out for me. More wattage usually means more heat and more wear on the battery, so I'm happy with anything that will charge slowly. If I need a fast charge for some reason I plug it in.
I have the same thoughts. I figure a flat charger at 5W (or less) on my nightstand and a charging stand on my desk. Correct me if I'm wrong, but charging at a lower power should help the battery last longer. I charge my 18650s at 700mW. I just got an iPhone 11 and hope to get 4-5 good years out of it.

Read up on it and looked on youtube. Bought an equivalent charger and two receivers to convert non wireless charging cell phones to wireless on ebay using ebay bucks and 10 additional cents. Will see if it works.

Extreme heat/cold will causing Lithium battery issue, fast charge not sure, used to be especially for Ni-NH. A lot phone start using 30W and 40W.charging.. I dont think Q1 10W will be the issue.

Within a year or two, Lithium will be using Graphene and will be better stability

I got a knockoff Samsung one from Ebay many years ago. It still can charge my phone like S8 within 2 - 3 hours. I am using 2A charger.

Anker should be better than a knockoff....... I havent tried it by saying thatlaugh out loud

Should work fine if only using one USB port on the outlet. Looks like each outlet provides 2.4A total, but splits into 2 x 1.2A per port if using both. Charger states it needs a 2A minimum input, so likely wouldn't work if splitting the power.

It's kindof sad to see that's downvoted on slickdeals for saying I spent ten cents. It's like seeing all those public domain books on the frontpage, and things that aren't really on sale as hot deals.

Slickdeals isn't going to be much of a place if this continues (and fatwallet is gone, and anadtech isn't much now), Hey I upvoted posts that told me how I could save money by doing it a different way.

No. But wireless charging is pretty useless in most applications. Plug it In.
I used to feel that way until the micro USB port on my Nexus 6 started getting loose having connectivity issues. Tried wireless and never went back to a electro mechanical cable.

Later bought a Galaxy S9 and only use wireless with a low current power supply so the battery doesn't get hot.

CNET "I spent $13 to add wireless charging to my Android phone"
https://www.cnet.com/how-to/i-spe...oid-phone/

$13 was a little expensive for my $30 black friday phone, now on a mvno, but the link is just there for info if anyone wants to convert.

It gives me no greater joy in life to do for a few bucks what costs someone $1000 - you have to keep up appearances! Please Please Please

Are there any wireless chargers that can charge through a thin clear TPU case + a Popsocket?

The thinner the case (back) the better power delivery...
There are also some tempered glass back case available. Not sure if it is gimmick but glass is better for power transmit
