Great jacket, just bought one last week, and another today with the code (will return the first purchase made at $119). But to address others questions comparing it to cirrus, there is no comparison, they are completely different jackets. Cirrus is down and puffy, stretch is just an outer waterproof shell, like a snowboarding or skiing jacket. In fact, the stretch is really just the outer shell of the powder search 3 in 1, with the other component of the powder search being an inner down jacket, like the cirrus. So get one or the other, or both! They both serve different purposes, and like the powder search, can be worn together or separate, either or.
Ps. The blue looks amazing in person, and way better than pictured, imo.

I have the jacket and I wear it in Boston everyday to work. I don't know where in the country you are from but we get pretty low temps in the winter in this part of the country. You don't have to take my word for it but I'm just talking out of my experience with the jacket.

These are very very warm. Have them and sometimes have to unzip in new England winter.

So it's a 120.00 currently and we get additional 40 dollars savings with the code. Slick deal unless they have Mark down at the end of the season

You think this is worth $20 more than the CirrusLite Down Jacket

I have the cirrus lite as well Smilie I prefer the cirrus when I have to pack it for travel. Cirrus lite is more packable whereas this is more a regular jacket. Both are equally warm at 650 fill rating. I have an ascent at 800 fill that is the warmest of the lot.

If I was going to be hiking in the smoky mountains which would be better and hanging around Gatlinburg in February

I would recommend the cirrus with a mid/base layer in such a case to give you flexibility of removing layers as needed and keeping you warm throughout. The gloves will be key though as they seem to the first ones to go numb in a climb.

Look at the superior down gloves from Eddie bauer. The code might apply there as well. The primary difference between cirrus and this is the velcro at wrist or not. This one has a velcro and cirrus doesn't.

Been trying to get a replacement rain coat but sounds like this one is too warm up front. Guess I'll keep looking heh.
