I bought this last time it went on sale. Works fine. I don't know how fast it charges, but when I wake up in the morning my phone's always at 100%. FYI my house has never burned down due to this charger.

My understanding is a slower charge is generally better for batteries. Ultimately it's heat that harms batteries and more current = more heat, but you're right, wireless chargers aren't as efficient, there's some current loss in the wireless conversion.
Iphone users, better buy 18W USB-C power Adapter and USC-C to lightening cable(
1 or 2m) from Apple or reliable retailers for safe charging. I'm using for two years with apple phones. It maybe pricey but well worth it. Just saying..

I have this and like it but doesn't seem to charge as fast as a RavPower pad I have. Definitely an overnight charger for me. What's annoying is that in 2020 it uses a micro USB so I can't just unplug the pad and go straight into my phone for a true quick charge.
Blame Apple for that, anything with a Lightning connector has to go through their approval process which is slow and painful for the manufacturers and they would also have to pay a licensing fee to Apple laugh out loud

It took me a min to realize you mean via Bluetooth or speakerphone. I was picturing you holding a phone and wireless charger in your hands up to your ear. Smilie
LMAO I did the same thing! lol

only a buck off normal price. not really a deal IMO
Snarky. Normal price is $19. Discounted to 13 and topped with a coupon. How is this a top comment?????

I bought one $15 awhile back would consider buying again at $12.

It's showing $18.99 regular price now, and this coupon takes it down to $11.99.

Did you use the coupon code? I just entered it, and a $7 discount is applied in cart.

Nope, the coupon will subtract $7 in your cart, bringing the price down to $11.99.

Bought this and used it for 2 days now with my stock iPhone power converter (which works fine with a normal lightning cable). Going in the garbage. Charges my iPhone 8+ for maybe 10 minutes, then shuts off. Tried leaving on charger over night to see if it started charging again after some time. Nope. Have to unplug and plug back in to get it to charge again. Not doing that every 10 minutes.
From the Product Description on Amazon's site:
Do not use Apple's 5V / 1A stock charger or a computer's USB port to power your wireless charger.

There's probably a more technical explanation to why, but I'm guessing the power output on the stock power converter just might not be high enough. At the very least it's going to charge very slowly using the stock 5V / 1A brick if it did work.

If you received a bad unit, Anker is always great about sending warranty replacements if you reach out to them.

Back down to $13.99 if you're thinking about this item. Two dollars more than when it was frontpage but good enough for me since I need one now.
