Just ordered one. Sam's club membership is required for this deal, but this seems to be the best deal I can find on a pellet smoker.

I posted this same deal a month ago and only had one comment calling it junk and claiming Pit Boss was better. I went ahead and ordered it anyway as my Pit Boss has taken a dump on me and I use my pellet grill at least once a week. Have used this a dozen times in the last month and have had no issues. In fact, I like it as well or better than the Pit Boss. This will steadily run in the 150 range on low smoke setting and I've gotten the internal temp at a steady 550 on high. This has more precise setting than the Pit Boss as well. I would buy it again.

Probably should put "Sam's Club" in title subby.

That Lifesmart 1160 looks like the RecTec Stampede (RT590). I have a RecTec and just love grilling on a pellet grill. Go for it!

How is it for cleaning out the ash? The pit boss I was looking at pretty much needed a shop vac, which I don't want to deal with.

Anybody know if this one has a searing section? I got the pit boss that was on sale at Target for around $100 and while it is great I really wish it had a searing section like some of the other pit bosses do.
