Ive owned this board pretty much since launch and I can attest that there were issues aplenty. Most of them stemming from unstable firmware releases. Out of the box, I got scared because the darn thing didn't power on... Triple checked everything and then it just worked - red flag but I shrugged. Next few agesa updates were a nightmare, to be honest. Sometimes I couldn't post until I pulled out a stick of my Trident Neo ram. Then they put out a firmware that refused to post if you had ANY PCIE peripheral. They fixed that pretty quick, 4 days I believe. AFTER revision F10C, things are finally rock stable. I recently updated to F11 and no hiccups for the past week. Really, I think people are safe with this board now - I beta tested for yall, you're welcome. Out of the box, be prepared for some weird shit until you update to F11.

Pros: It's a good price.

Cons:: 41% One-star reviews on the motherboard. I can't stomach that.

What's the best brand mobo for amd boards? Haven't been on team red for the longest. Is Asus preferable to Gigabyte?

They all produce hits and misses with their various product lines, so you have to look at the overall review of individual models.

I went through 3 different higher end x570 boards (not the crazy $1k options but a step down). Two Asus and one Gigabyte. I prefer my Gigabyte Aorus Master over the Asus boards I had, hands down. It's still far from perfect but the Asus boards were a mess from a software/firmware standpoint. Hopefully it's a much better situation now but it was bad when I RMA'd the two Asus boards.

I know none of those are this board, just giving my data point on the "best brand" question is all. :-)

I do. No issues with it to this point. I got it on bf for just over $200. Im usually an msi fan so I was sceptical but it so far hasnt given me any issues. I tend to think reviews are usually of negative experiences moreso than positive unless there is a very good quality or some aspect like price to performance were people have to say why they like it so much. I take reviews seriously but to an extent.

I have this exact combo. No issues that are board related.
