I got news for you. They all require blade oil, this one just kindly comes with some
Really? My Wahl (dry only) hasn't needed it in 5+ years. Or may be I just didn't know about this??

Not to diminish the bad reviews, but I always sort by MOST RECENT because there may have been a revision or something that solved issues. In this case, sorting by most recent pushes a LOT of good reviews right to the top. Meaning that many people have good things to say recently.
Or that company found better marketing services.

Yup, check the instructions of pretty much any trimmer and they will usually recommend to oil regularly, if not for every use. Definitely every reputable brand does this.

I recommend looking up your models instruction manual or you can call Wahl tech support at (815) 625-6525

I have had mine for at least 2 years now and it works great. The only negative I can say about it is it needs that big base to charge so if you travel with it potentially you have to take that with you. That being said I have taken it on many week long trips and it never ran out of charge.
I agree, I've had this for a couple years too. Works great overall.

I've had one for years to! So weird, didn't know it was well known. Works pretty well but requires multiple passes for me on certain short lengths (around 3-4mm). Anyway, likely due to my thick hair (middle Eastern). Still works fine though, lost the oil long ago, not a big deal. I'm sure there are better, probably not at this price point though.

I have been using this for at least 5 years. I shave my head with it once a month and have never had a problem. Ordered another to have as a spare.

So.... out of all those you have had, which trimmer do you recommend?
depends. i used it on my beard and balding head. I've since gone for a Wahl beard style trimmer and use that. I still use this crappy thing on my mustache area, bit it's just feels and sounds extremely underpowered

Same. I have my electrics for an average of three or four years, but I've *never* oiled one.

I have this. Bought it in 2015 and still going strong except sometimes the on/off button gets stuck because of the outer membrane to keep it waterproof. I use it 3-4 times a week and charge it maybe once every three/four weeks. I don't leave it on the charger so maybe that helps the battery life. If I do charge it, I try to limit the time to 4ish hours. Easy to clean and so far the plastic adjustable piece has not broken which was what I was worried about. Before buying it my main concerns were is it really waterproof, durability and battery life.So far so good. Does not snag. I use it for everything. Idc if you think that's gross.

Is this good for shaving the dick hairs? If not, which one is better? Asking for a friend.

I used this trimmer for a couple of years until it died and used its newer version (black color) as well but I agree with most reviews that it seriously lacks power especially for close trims for stubble and mustache. I went for a Philips Norelco trimmer and had much more closer trim than this one although I love the built in precision settings on this trimmer way better than having to look for precision combs on the Norelco.

I've been using one of these for the past 2-3 years and it's been working good for me. I use it in the shower and never lube it like it says it needs.
