$1200 for 4 people on a 7 day western Caribbean cruise is awesome until you add $600 taxes and fees then it's just decent.

5 people in 1 room we did it on a Carnical last year. We camp alot so no problems with confined spaces haha.

As for Wifi I skip it... I'm cheap and I need the break from being plugged in.

Mandatory gratuity is added but can be removed or adjusted (not starting a flame war just stating facts).

4 people in 1 room or 2 rooms?

How much is the mandatory gratuity?

Usually, there are cheaper/slower/limited plans.

+ wi-fi at some restaurants in ports

I simply don't see how you could even fit 4 people in these rooms, much less 5.

WIFI on Medalion class ships is decent, you can stream, check your security cams at home and easily do wifi calling, bought whole cruise package for $9/day/one device(but you can share, one connected at any time) before sailing. WIFI in ports in any cafe/bar, but you have to be paid customer to use it.
