In-store the TV is discounted to $500. There is a 15% off Roku products in-store promo, they scanned the discount code at the store I was at. Comes out to $462, after tax.

You can check stock locally at your store at the link in OP. You can also (most likely) go in the store and request delivery but order through the store for the discount to $500.

Here's my receipt: https://i.imgur.com/VeVgF5f.jpg

If they give you any issue, ask them for the specific model number and have them do a check on the price. It will be $500, as it's not listed elsewhere as $500 but it is nationwide at Best Buy. Then apply the 15% off through them and their TCL promotion or have them scan the barcode on this image: https://i.imgur.com/fkmKc7t.png.

Previous lowest price I saw was $500. Probably best current performance/value for a 65" TV.

Yeah for some reason the streaming is just terrible. I've tried Netflix, Twitch, Youtube, and even some of the free content like HGTV on the Roku App and it looks like like 720p AT BEST. It's just weird, because when I play games it looks amazing.
It was fine in your last tv? Did you do a speedtest on your WiFi?

Yeah it looked just fine on my last TV, however, that TV wasn't 4k. It was a 70" Vizio. I'm watching The Office on Netflix right now and there's motion blur and just in general a weird picture.

Your are watching it on the Xbox? Did you try the Netflix Roku app on the TV's OS?

Yes sir - I've tried using streaming apps on my xbox and directly through the Roku app on the TV. I've tried wireless and wired. It's quite perplexing.

Actually, now while streaming Netflix on my Xbox it looks normal. Tried youtube and twitch and it's grainy. I'm lost.

the reason I mention 4K football all the time because it motion blur seems worse on normal compressed signal. Maybe it's my imagine. I have about 4 different apps for the game today on Fox and some are better than others.

You should do a speed test though with your phone on the network. 4k stream takes faster internet, your last tv wasn't 4k so it needed less speed to stream. I'm wondering if your stream is bring downgraded due to insufficient bandwidth

I remember reading something about xbox causing streaming issues, don't have one so can't be more specific. Maybe try googling tcl xbox streaming problem for more info?

no easy answer, I'm using my ATTnow stream with DVR for big games but they won't let you cast recording yet. So next up is Locast with local Fox stream, about the same picture but with no DVR.

Of course Fox Sports app is king when in 4k but seems like they are cutting back on that. Fox Now can be pretty good since it's probably not as affected by big game traffic.

Then there is the platform, not just the app. 4K firestick is my primary feed, even on Roku TV. Just seems more fluid and consistent with ATTnow feed. I could probably get a pretty good picture with the Nvidia shield apps too or my Osprey beta box but they have their own issues.

So not much help, it can get pretty hairy here trying to get my Seahawks fix. It's a work in progress getting everything sorted out. Oh and the most useful is the chrome or EDGE Chromium browser so I can pop in SD easily on this TV.

Man I really don't know then. It honestly doesn't seem like it's the panel because if it was it should be doing that type of stuff while gaming, I keep a eye out for any information that could help you

As far as Netflix on the Roku did you check the display settings inside the Roku OS? Does it say it's set for 4k?

There is an additional sub-menu available for those who are so inclined whereby certain settings such as dolby vision can be turned off. Press home 5X, followed by rev, pause, fwd, pause, rev to access.

Thanks for the tip on the fox now app, makes a huge difference compared to the cable feed. Watching football was so bad with all the motion artifacts via cable. Using the app now its flawless. I'll have to try the cbs app as well to see if it does perform similarly.
