The Goodyear tires in bold qualify for the flash sale plus both current Goodyear rebates

Goodyear $50 rebate on any set:

Goodyear has an additional $25/50/75 rebate for qualifying sets:

wish tires weren't so stupid with the gimmics, coupons rebates etc

I just need a couple tires at a good price for a car that maybe will last another year or two but if you just walk into a tire store it's ridiculous

I just bought tires from them. If you price match with discounted wheel warehouse or some other online retailer, that might be better than the instant $80 off. For me, I got the GoodYear Maxlife tires for $91.23 per tire compared to the $114 online price. $80/4 = $20 per tire means I saved $94 - $91.23 = $2.77 per tire. Or, about $11.00 for the set. The price match must also include shipping costs for the retailer, just FYI.

I returned the Costco deal for this instead. With the $50 Goodyear Promotion rebate, I saved like $60 from the Costco $150 off per set promo.

As an aside, Costco only does free tire rotations / balancing for 5 years unless you're still a member. For America's Tire, you get lifetime free rotations / balancing for the life of the tire. Could be 5 years to 10. They will do it. Costco's won't. I know because they wouldn't do mine after 5 years.
Costco does lifetime balance, rotation, and repair on their tires. If you didn't get that service, you should've referred them to their own website, which states as much. I've never had a set of tires last 5 years, but nothing on their website mentions 5 years.

What part of cold Kansas are you in?

Even Michigan is done with winter by April.

Try calling local places. I found better prices at a local family owned shop and they got them in much faster than discount tire without the pushy sales tactics.

Lifetime yes, but the tire worn or crack in 4 years then Costco won't touch.

Wish they would bring back their $100 off Discount Tires Direct Orders of $400+ from their ebay store. Last time they had it was about a year ago. This deal is good if you like if you like rebates.

I purchased some winter tires from DTD a couple months ago. The tires I received were dated 2014, so be sure to check what they send you. They took them back, no questions asked, but I had to request FedEx pick them up since I wasn't going to load them and drop them off myself. They refused to sell another set to me as the other ones might also be old (they didn't pull them off the website) and wouldn't price match on another set of comparable quality.

After other issues with the regular discounttire.com website ordering, I wouldn't recommend dealing with this company.
My buyer beware story: when I went in store to get new tires, they added tire insurance (for the full price) hoping I wouldn't see. Company is not the most trustworthy...

I have a staggered setup and the $80 does not apply when only adding 2 of each wheel but still having a total of 4 tires in your cart. Possibly will have to call to get that applied in cases like this.

Done with winter, as in snow, but not cold temps. Average low April 1st is still 40 degrees. Summer tires require 45+ temps to perform and can crack when colder.

If you get a tread wear credit back from DT, make sure you check their math. They're sleezy by manipulating the cost of the tire being replaced or your remaining tread depth or mileage driven to lower the credit amount.
