Just received my order today, ordered five days ago. Product is brand new (Tool Only), no blemishes that I can see. Works extremely well, as good as my Makita 18V handheld. Home Depot sells for $30.

Add $5.01 filler for free shipping. Here's a suggestion

31 piece drill bit set:

Get free shipping by switching between billing and shipping addresses. Both are the same for me, and I seleted Fedex Ground for $6, but final payout was $15.89 (14.99 + .90 tax + no shipping).

I don't see any HD deal. Can you share a link?
It's if you buy the $99 3 amp batteries, you get this tool half off. Do not buy this vacuum with the deal.... Buy an actual $100 tool or something.

Yeah, they're good. I've gotten a couple things from them and they have a good reputation.

The Direct Tools Outlet site and their brick and mortar stores are the wholly owned outlet arm of TTI, which is the parent company of Ryobi, Milwaukee, Ridgid, AEG, Oreck, Hoover, Dirt Devil, Hart, etc. They use DTO to sell factory refurbs, overstock (new products sold as "factory blemished"), and occasionally store returns. It's as legit as it gets.

Careful counting on being able to return the battery. HD refused to accept it for me, even though I just asked for store credit. They use an automated system that rejected it and I even talked with the store manager who said they could not do anything unless I returned the tool with it.
The trick is to set the "Free tool" to "in-store pickup" and set the battery kit to "ship to home". Immediately after you submit the order, go back in to "My Orders" page and cancel the battery kit (you have a small window to cancel before it charges your card). Then go pick up your "free tool" at the store when you get the pickup e-mail. No need to deal with returning the battery kit and the "Free tool" is charged the discount bundle price.

Let me add another question to the mix. Can anyone please tell me the difference between Ryobi vacuum models P713 and P7131 other than the cosmetic differences. Here are links to both of them.

There is no need for a trick. I have no clue how people are having trouble returning anything with their receipt. I've returned over 10 of those 3ah kits in the past month. Other times I just placed the orders for pickup at different stores and only picked up the part I wanted to keep. Then chat to cancel the rest or let it time out after a month.

if anything, your ship to home tip is the worst. I ordered five 9ah batts with five 3ah kits. 9ah were instore pickup, 3ah kits were shipped. well the damn 9ah were OOS even though the store said they had them. The store canceled the 9ah batts and it was to late to cancel the 3ah kits which shipped and then I had to return them.

You need to return it using the individual order number. The trick is to order one for delivery and the other for pickup. That way both get different numbers, and you simply return that order. If both are shipped or both picked up, then order number is the same and you won't be able to do it.

In the past you could even cancel the delivery order within a couple of minutes and just pickup the other item.

You could get blacklisted with excessive returns.
