I think I found my new hobby Smilie I spent a while last night (thank you insomnia!) browsing the Lowes app for discounts on cordless drills (my quest to replace my Porter Cable tools i just sold off). I expanded my search to a few other stores further away, and found quite a bit of variation from store to store.

I did a few different keyword searches (i.e. Dewalt, Kobalt, Black and Decker etc..) and found the most useful keyword was Dewalt, after I filtered down by power tools. That seemed to bring up the best list of items across different brands.

Anyway, the list below represents what I was able to find across my 7 local stores.

I already know that pretty much ALL of these items have pretty much been posted at some point.

What is NICE about these sorts of reposts is that sometimes peoples local stores drop prices at different times and when a deal is originally posted, your store may not have had the item on sale, but now it is.

Here is my list, I certainly hope it helps someone! I think the best deal (if you can find it) is the corded Hitachi drill. That one was a surprise. Also, note the $89 dewalt drill is available for shipping, at least it was for my zipcode. All the rest of the items are in-store only

EDIT: Please note, some of these were showing zero stock on brickseek, but lowes.com showed inventory. My guess is, that means my in store pickup orders will be canceled due to non stock, but still worth a shot to check both !
Happy hunting and Enjoy!

It could be because of the dynamic pricing, sometimes the algorithms are able to sense the demand and adjust the prices accordingly. Also it is a known fact that each store had their own pricing model depending on the competition, stock, in the market

Thanks for the data point! What location? I wish my lowes did that Frown They always seem to place clearance items randomly throughout the store, but it is satisfying when you stumble on that yellow sticker!
Western Pennsylvania, they had a bunch of random things like curtain rods half price as well.

Appreciate all the work you took to create this post. I personally know that it takes some time to do this. You really had some bad insomnia. Lol.
Pulled the trigger on the 4 volt screwdriver.
Thanks again
I am thinking to pull the trigger on the screwdriver and I have few stores around me where it shows stock.

I am used to manual screwdriver but I rarely use it. Not sure about spending 25 on this.

However this is a good post. Thank you OP.

I would buy that in a heartbeat if I did not already have this one [hammerheadtools.com] (huge deal from Lowes a year or two ago, i think i got it for like $4?). The nice thing about both of these is that they charge via Micro-usb, and not some stupid proprietary port.

And what is NICE about these sorts of posts is that you get credit for other people's deals, and you pretty much guarantee that by not providing a link to the original post. NICE! Wave

Its a shame there is not a slickdeals Lowes trading forum. I have the batteries on sale by me, but none of the tools. You have the tools and none of the batteries Smilie

"We need to trim payroll and reduce other operating expenses." = "Let's give managers discretion on pricing."

I don't follow that OP's logic either, lol.
