I think I found my new hobby Smilie I spent a while last night (thank you insomnia!) browsing the Lowes app for discounts on cordless drills (my quest to replace my Porter Cable tools i just sold off). I expanded my search to a few other stores further away, and found quite a bit of variation from store to store.

I did a few different keyword searches (i.e. Dewalt, Kobalt, Black and Decker etc..) and found the most useful keyword was Dewalt, after I filtered down by power tools. That seemed to bring up the best list of items across different brands.

Anyway, the list below represents what I was able to find across my 7 local stores.

I already know that pretty much ALL of these items have pretty much been posted at some point.

What is NICE about these sorts of reposts is that sometimes peoples local stores drop prices at different times and when a deal is originally posted, your store may not have had the item on sale, but now it is.

Here is my list, I certainly hope it helps someone! I think the best deal (if you can find it) is the corded Hitachi drill. That one was a surprise. Also, note the $89 dewalt drill is available for shipping, at least it was for my zipcode. All the rest of the items are in-store only

EDIT: Please note, some of these were showing zero stock on brickseek, but lowes.com showed inventory. My guess is, that means my in store pickup orders will be canceled due to non stock, but still worth a shot to check both !
Happy hunting and Enjoy!

Looking at the Greenworks 60V Blower / Trimmer - Combo and Stand Alone tools.

Does anyone know the difference between the combo and buying the standalone tools with batteries? A local store has the combo for $99.50 & the extra battery for $51.60, but also has the trimmer with battery for $75.60 and blower with battery for $79.60. Only a $5 difference, but didnt know if the combo and extra battery was any different than buying them separately with an included battery each.

Good to know, thanks! Any other helpful hints for those of us wanting to find good deals? Also, why don't employees buy up all these incredible deals? Or do you find out about them like the rest of us? It just seems like if i am (for example) slapping a $10 price sticker on a $100 drill, I would be strongly motivated to buy it Smilie
I'd say the vast majority of Lowes employees don't know or care about the stuff Lowes sells. I've got 5 stores in my area. When I receive a 'cancelled, out of stock' message for an order I placed, 7 out 10 times I can find the cancelled when I go look for myself in the store.

And these Lowes aren't busy like Home Depots, because contractors rarely go there. They have lots of employees milling about, they're just lazy and/or incompetent.

Thanks for sharing OP! Hope u get some sleep.

I suspect someone with coding skill already written an app to scrape data from Lowes for items with very reduced price.

Best of luck! Let us know if it ships. I have had that in "back-order" status for a few weeks now. However, I just received a grill from about 2 months ago, so I guess there is hope Smilie Luckily, it does not cost anything to place an order, so it can sit there as long as it likes. Unless , however, you need a drill asap...

"Order is processing" email however, clicking the link for order status shows it's on "back order"

If your looking for deals at Lowes, you cant rely on online or apps Ive worked at a few different Lowes and depending on the management (prices and deals and how they are marked) fluctuate. Some stores, the merchandisers mark down at night or during day and scoop up what they mark down-especially non-stock items. At other stores management may have a policy that customers get the deals or they bring prices down slowly. So if you want to score a bunch of stuff, just grab a manager and start dealing; example xmass stuff 20 cents on dollar. The biggest deals are always on non-stock items, they just want them gone.

"That's a non-stock item." That's the excuse I get for almost every canceled online order with Lowe's.

So my question is, how do I know *beforehand* which items are "non-stock"?
Is there some secret to product SKU, for example? TIA

Was over at my step-dads on Saturday and had to use his rickety old wooden ladder. Not safe at all. Did a search on SD for ladders and the $39 camo ladder was a great and timely find. Thanks!

Hitachi Drill for $14 Wow!
Delivery for $65 is Wow million times! Will they ship from Japan?
When you see a wacky price like that, it means it's not available for shipping from a warehouse where their operations are streamlined for shipping. It will come via truck delivery directly from the actual store you are looking at, which is NOT streamlined for shipping small items and charge way more. Their truck delivery is not really designed for stuff like this, it's more designed to deliver you lumber and supplies for a large project that you may not have a truck to pick up yourself.
