Shark® APEX® DuoClean® with Zero-M™ Powered Lift-Away® Upright Vacuum $299.40 - $50 plus tax free shipping using promo code weekend50.

I was about to pull the trigger on a like new Amazon warehouse deal with 20% off, which would have been $230 plus tax. For $20 more, this comes factory direct with the 5 year warranty (no warranty under AWD) and a bonus under appliance wand.

Ours actually had an issue in year 2, so well before the 5 we expected to be covered under. Called support to say the motorized main brush head was not turning on and surprise, it's considered an accessory and not part of the actual vacuum... I guess the vaccum still works if you want to walk around using the hose only. The replacement part is $100 plus tax/shipping so almost half of what we paid for it originally.

People can down vote but until you've actually experienced an issue you wouldn't understand. Liked the vacuum before it broke for what it's worth.

Why's there a gaming pc in the front of this vacuum?

Just a guess here.... But maybe it is getting dirtier because it is vacuuming up more dirt than the others?

Thanks!

Moving shortly and my partner wanted a new vac to replace our two mediocre ones, I've heard nothing but amazing things about this one.

It's a good deal, and I've been stalking it, but not as good as Black Friday. Might have to pull the trigger. Thanks op

Bought this from Kohls a month back for around same price with multiple coupons. Missed the BF deals where it was bit lower but got some Kohl's cash instead. I must say this is one the best Vacuums I've used. I have Dyson Ball, Bissell Cleanview and this one blows both of them away. It is a bit on the heavy side though but its fine for me.

Kohl's deal with the Kohl's cash was a better deal. This is still a good deal though.

One advantage of buying directly through Shark is the 5 year VIP warranty. Helpful if anything ever breaks.

I also bought from Kohl's on the Black Friday deal for around the same price. Awesome machine. It got better reviews than the Dyson on carpet so I went with this. It has so much suction you can feel and see it pulling the carpet up as you use it. Yes, it's a bit heavy, but doesn't matter to me. And it's the quietest vacuum I've ever used! Also does great on the hardwood, and I never have to pull hair out of the roller (and we have long hair from girls and white medium length hair from the dog).

Hey you're right! I thought it was for playing Metroid but it turns out "Zero-M" has nothing to do with that.

Would this be okay to use on a Shag rug like this from costco? https://www.costco.com/soft-step-...30494.html

I have some shag rugs over hardwood floors.

I have the Apex Speed Upright as well as one of the first gen Dyson Ball (DC 25) and a 15 y/o DC14. I noticed that the filters on the Apex are getting dirty much faster than the dyson. The dyson filter on both have never been washed and is much cleaner than the apex. Do you notice the same issue as well? I assume it has something to do with the cyclones not being as effective on the Shark due to Dyson patenting. Other than that the Shark has been an amazing machine

They do get dirty. I wash mine under some running water every few months.

It's a good vacuum.

I had a dyson ball before this. My opinion is the Dyson was better, but just barely. The shark cleans just as well.
