These L&L containers are great, but I'm having a hard time thinking of how I'd use the onion container.

You can put anything in it--I use it for onions all the time but I've put other items in it. Challenge is you can't stack anything on top of it--You can stack it on top of other items but because of the raised lid--it's good for onions etc but not stacking. I bought several a long time ago and usually have one or two in the frig. I have another one similar to it but it has a flat lid and seems to work just as well for what I need. If I have a large onion--I usually have to cut it to fit in the container.

there's confusion in this listing between 6cup amazon and 10cup walmart.

the walmart is a a better value, and amazon is hiding how small it's may be.
