These are great containers and retail for $15+, but if you look for them at TJ Maxx or Bargain Hunt (or similar closeout stores), $8-$9 is not uncommon. Really excellent containers and Thermos warranty support is good.

The pop up straw funtainer works pretty good. I put Ice in there with water for my kids and it lasts almost whole day. I use crushed ice but if they were chunks, it might last longer. My kids also leave the lids opened sometimes which probably helps melts the ice faster. Thermos makes some good stuff.

Make sure you clean the pop-up straw really well. We had a Pokémon version of this for my son and the straw got moldy so we threw away the plastic. Tempted to get the Hello Kitty just for the replacement lid but might look around a bit more...

I didnt buy from here but based on positive responses, ended up buying at Amazon a brand new R2 bottle for my toddler who somehow seems to love R2
